Senate Summary

This is not a complete summary but rather the things we should deal with.
  • Traffic Police will be allowed on campus (not previously allowed) to arrest drunk drivers on Wednesday's and Friday's.
    • We must make sure they are just arresting drunk drivers and not drunk walking students.
    • I think this is a good thing as drunk drivers really are being dumb asses.
    • Students will be notified next term beforehand.
  • The police have some secret plans for the pubs around town.
    • What is it? Do some digging.
  • QoL comm had Prof Mollar (sp?) added to it.
    • Who is Prof Mollar and what research are they doing that is relevant.
  • Why didn't Taf sit on the Employment Equity comm?
  • O-Week comm will be formed and have the terms of referencwe sent to them for working.
    • include library

    • transport div
    • more SRC
  • I must comment on the External Examiners policy before the next QA comm.
