Got some great ideas for the website. The exec meeting was a quickie but there are some impending battles.
First off, before I feel asleep last night I had some kief ideas about the SRC website. There will be three parts to it:
The last part would be an easy to use upload manager for Bridget to upload meeting minutes and important documents for student perusal.
Next up the issue of people in large rooms having to pack up over vac's is back again. This is irritating as it is directly because students didn't care that this was passed. I am more sympathetic towards house comm's and SRC members that this affects than subwardens who are paid. Anyway the mistakes of last year should not continue to this year, and so we are hoping to get enough support to table a document at the Residences committe to have this rule overturned. Must remember that only people in large rooms are affected and not all people in senior positions.
Also recieved an e-mail from New house asking for a car to be put on emergency standby to get sickly students to the San or hospital when required. I don't see this happening, but we will talk to New House and see if there is an actual need, if we can meet it, or if there is an alternate means of doing it.
QA meeting tomorrow, with the main focus being the standardisation of accreditation of courses in SA higher education institutions. Will report back tomorrow.

- Internal Press Releases manager
