I don't know how to deal with it and am just avoiding it. I know this is really unhealthy but I don't know what else to do.

Cigarettes did it.

This is one of the most intelligent people I know. I respect this person so much and they have taught me more in the short time I have known them that anyone else. This person has changed the world and will continue to. How did a stupid drug force the most irrational choice there is. Do this even thought it will kill you.

Now every smoker is an insult, a monument to the collective stupidity and greed of the whole industry. God dammit we condone this! It will kill you, as certain as AIDS and and drowning will. This is real life. If you are a smoker, please think about this. Not in the way you politely ignore the warning on the pack or make jokes about it, but seriously consider this statement.

Smoking will kill you.

Please let something good come of this and quit.
