I know this topic may shock a lot of you. I have been monitoring the elections like the rest of the world and have noticed that Bush seems set to win. Instead of killing your children now, there may be some hope to this. I am referring to this article by the brilliant, John Pilger.
Here is the choice quotation:
"One does not have to believe the worse the better, but we have to consider candidly the foreign policy consequences of a renewal of Bush's mandate. As dangerous as it is, Bush's re-election may be a lesser evil." With Nato back in train under President Kerry, and the French and Germans compliant, American ambitions will proceed without the Napoleonic hindrances of the Bush gang."
I believe he has a point. Right now Bush in running America into the ground. He is universally hated, ruining the American economy and trying to blow up half the world. It is very hard for him to garner any international support, but America has been committing these crimes for hundreds of years and we are only noticing now. This is because Bush's mistakes are so obvious. If Kerry is elected things may very well go back to the way they were, where Clinton was revered while secretly killing millions internationally. In addition, we are far more likely to forgive Kerry with statements like "He has a lot of work to do", "He just got power you can't expect him to fix everything in one go" etc.
I feel a victory to the incumbent will be the best way to remove America as a superpower. His obvious disregard for any country but his own and even then only the richer parts of it may be just what we need to get the world off its hyperpower dependency. It is important to note that removing American as a super power is not the same as turning it into a third world country (like South Africa :) ).
To put it simply both Bush and Kerry could push us to the brink of a nuclear war but it would be much harder for Bush to do it than Kerry. Bush winning could be exactly what the planet needs.

Following on from this post, it seems plans are well on track for Bush to get rid of this bloody irritating hyper-power we call America. According to Stephen Roach, the chief economist at investment banking giant Morgan Stanley:"Roach sees a 30 perce
