HIV/AIDS Awareness Week

Today marks the start of HIV/AIDS awareness week at my University. It kicked off with a debate between various SHARC (Student HIV/AIDS Resistance Campaign) members, a representative of the national higher education HIV/AIDS body and our Dean of Students. There are a host of other activities planned during the week including a talk by Zackie Achmat, one of our most famous AIDS activists on Thursday.
