Ingrid has stumbled upon an incredible tool. It was written by a HAM radio operator. it works in conjunction with topographical maps (like the US Geological Survey maps) to provide visualisations of the coverage of radio antennas, of any type. It has helped Ingrid work out how best to douse our entire city with WiFi coverage to provide many schools with an internet connection if our favourite evil monopoly would bugger off. Recommended for anyone setting up an outdoor WiFi network. I imagine indoor networks could be done if maps existed for them.
