Well it is Danni and my anniversary today. One year. Wow.
And so the saga begins.
First we were going to go away to woodlands, but this didn't pan out because Danni's parents were dead against it and we wanted them to respect us.
So I decided I would organise a dinner. I knew I couldn't do it outside as it is rather cold. So I decided the His People revolution cafe would be a great place for it, due to its secret nature. HP rejected this idea because they don't condone dating (sic). So I eventually settled for the Union building balcony overlooking Grahamstown and the great field. This is accessible from the SRC councillors office.
Next I organised a table from activate, and food and crocery from Guidos. They did the crockery for me as a favour because they 'know' me. A perk of being in Gtown this long.I also bought a bunch of extras like candles (x25), Champage, Robertson Sweet Red wine etc.
Anyway the dinner was awesome and she was surprised. 3 course meal was very filling and the night was beautiful. The candles kept going out, but we did have fun relighting them.
This isn't all however, the night before we had gone out for dinner and a movie and when I got home my room was covered in balloons each one with a reason why she loves me written on it. It was so awesome. They are still on my bed staring at me.
All in all it was a great anniversary and a big ++ to robz for helping both Danni and I in our secret plans.
