It went pretty well and was quite long. The agenda items were great and everyone spoke well. I am proud to be on the SRC. The general meeting was quite informed however I got a bit irritated that there were questions about Mr/Miss Rhodes being dropped when we had only decided last night and were still in the process of deciding what will replace it. SASCO's continuing attempt to be the SRC was also irritating, especially when Bulumko decided that he will get back to us about Mr/Miss Rhodes after speaking to his members when it is OUR event to be run IF we want to, and not something enshrined in our duties or something we need to survey the Rhodes population about. It seems principled stands are never popular and that SASCO is determined to try and find a nieche by undermining us. Really must have a meeting with them soon.
